What buyers say:
“[...] I really couldn’t figure out how to ride this thing at first. It took me a few times around the block, trying a variety of foot positions to get going. Besides just getting out there and trying it, one of the best ways to learn the different riding styles is to watch the videos on the manufacturer’s website. Believe me, there is no wrong way to ride this thing, and that’s definitely part of its appeal.
The other thing that took me a while to figure out: this is not really a speed machine. Trikke’s scooters will give you a faster ride, but you have fewer movement options and you need a wider riding space with a Trikke–I don’t think you’d be welcome on many sidewalks with the Trikke. [...]”
“Our daughter received a Slider the Unscooter U6A for her 9th birthday. It only took her about a half hour to figure out how to ride well. She loves the Slider because “It is fun and is good exercise for my muscles.” We love it because she is a type 1 diabetic and this is a fun way for her to help control her blood sugars with exercise. [...]”
“I have been riding the U6 for several months now and have really enjoyed it. I like it so much (and so do my sons) I had to buy the U8 so they would leave my PINK U6 alone!! We live in Florida and have no hills, so I can ride this anywhere. This is the only exercise routine I have been able to stick with and many want to know where I got my funky scooter. I have toned up and lost a couple pants sizes with my increased activity riding this scooter. Now with a 2nd one, I can drag my girlfriends out with me for some daily exercise. For those who hate to exercise, I highly recommend this scooter!“
The Trikke Tech T8 Series is the best-selling model of the Trikke Series. These 3 wheeled scooters for adults are high range models with a new concept in terms of propelling yourself. They feature the patented 3CV cambering suspensions technology which provides both improved stability and an innovative propelling method: to move just carve into the turn, in a way similar to snowboarding or rollerblading. These movements can reach a decent speed and also provide an excellent workout, involving upper and lower body parts.
The Trikke Tech T8 Air features air-filled tires, something you will be glad to have if you like going “off road” or climbing hills. On asphalt or flat terrain the feeling is smoother than any other kind of tires.
These 3 wheeled scooters are known for their quality features such as aluminum frame, independent rear brakes and height-adjustable handlebar (useful if you want to work more with the upper body parts). They can be easily folded to fit in a car trunk and go for a ride wherever you want.

Drawbacks:
The Trikke Tech T8 Series Air is one of the best 3 wheeled scooters for adults on the market and has very few drawbacks: The only one we could point out is its learning curve, just a little “different” (not harder) from other 3 wheeled scooters. It propels with a movement similar to snowboarding or skiing in which you have to carve (or lean) into the turns.
What buyers say:
“I am 100% satisfied with my purchase. It is quality made and everywhere that I go people are always asking me about it. It comes nearly assembled, but all of the tools you need to complete the set up are included. There are not a million little parts that come with it so it is quite simple to have it out of the box and ridable in about 15 minutes. It is a great workout and it really fun once you get the hang of it. The customer support from Trikke is incredible. After several months of having my T8 my brother sat on and broke the rear fender and when i called them they rushed me another one. It is clear that they wanted me to be satisfied, and I am. I would recommend this product to anybody”
“[..]When it arrived I opened the box and have to be honest, was not expecting the quality of both product and packaging I found. Fantastic. Easy assembly, filled up the tires and I was off. Its not a natural motion and takes a lot of getting used to, but you literally become addicted to the feeling you get when it all goes right. I can see myself using this as my main exercise outlet. Its an entire body workout and I was huffing just going down my street [..]“
“[...]I have lost about 2 inches from my midsection in that short amount of time and my cardio workout is awesome. It will work out your upper and lower extremities and strenghten your core , and you wil have sooo much fun doin so. I rather do this than be stuck in a gym waiting in line for the next piece of equipment to use. Now that I’m burning off that unwanted fat around my mid-section , my ab work will begin to show the results that i used to have many yrs ago….. GO TRIKKING , HAVE FUN AND GET FIT !!!”
“[...] I can’t say that the Trikke offers the best full body workout that you can get, but it has got to be pretty close. I really don’t know a single part of the body that isn’t used. I can even target the upper body workout by changing the height of the handle bars. Once you get the hang of this thing you find yourself in a rhythm that is similar to skiing the slalom. The inflatable tires grip so well that you can really carve without the fear of a crash [...]“

What buyers say:
“Most importantly, my 2 year old loves this scooter. It gets scraped up and gouged but all the parts work and it does what it’s supposed to. I do, however, have to add that it drives me nuts how wide of turns it makes. This really can’t be used in a small area b/c of how large the turning radius is. As I type this review I wonder if that is on purpose. This is obviously supposed to be a child’s first scooter. If it turned real tight like some of the 2 wheel scooters I think my son would lost control of it. The wide turns probably help keep my son safe! “
“Got this for our 3 year old. it’s GREAT for a first scooter. I was disappointed at first because it doesn’t make very sharp turns. My daughter felt limited by that as well at first but after using it now for a few months…in my opinion it’s much safer for a beginner to have it only be able to turn a little…provides more control for the child. The scooter goes about as fast as the user makes it go…it doesn’t seem to ever get away from my child. It does go fast enough that it’s fun…it’s not too slow…for a beginner anyway. It’s not a slick fold down. I need both hands to get it down but I don’t mind that. It’s a nice feature being able to stow it away in the stroller with my other child or just carry it if needed. The base is nice and wide. Definitely recommend for the first scooter. I’m guessing this will probably be good for my kid until she’s 5 or 6. “
“Solid scooter, and my 3 yo uses it easily. I also favor the 2 front wheel design for little ones as a precursor to a RAZOR.
But… we live in the city and this thing is HEAVY — such a drag to cart it around to get to the park. Secondly, there is no brake so no going on hills! “.
If you’re looking for 3 wheeled scooters for adults and you’re a first timer in this field, you should definitely consider the Slider The Unscooter U8 .
With these steel-made 3 wheeled scooters for adults or taller teens learning riding is made easy, because it offers 3 ways of propelling: skate, scissors and slalom. Choose whichever you feel more comfortable with and in matter of a few trips you’ll be riding around the block. Apart from that, when you will be experienced with all 3 riding methods you can alternate them for better exercising, as each one of them targets a different part of the body. Of course like for all 3 wheeled scooters your feet we’ll always be on the decks.
The wheels of the Slider The Unscooter U8 are made of urethane, a little disadvantage compared to air filled wheels, like for example the Trikke T8 Air (even if for this models you have to buy them separately).
Regarding maneuverability, the Slider The Unscooter it’s a real winner. Its 3 wheels steer together at once so its curve ratio is really small, exactly one third of its competitors of the same dimensions. You might need a little more practice to get used to the 3 steering wheels but eventually you will be glad of this feature. The stability is not an issue because of the 3 steering wheels, actually you can feel safe on it. Anyhow it comes with handbrakes on both sides, just in case…

What buyers say:
“Purchased the slider about a month ago. Am really having fun (63 yrs old!!!) scooting around the nearby neighborhood park on it. It is another form of exercise that gets you moving. I like to do a variety of active things and this was one I could enjoy with my 7 yr old granddaughter. I bought her the U6 and she LOVES it! I will say no one who has tried it has been able to do the parallel movement very well. But I love the skating movement as well as the legs in and out movement. It doesn’t go very fast on rough asphalt – it is definitely best on smooth sidewalk or the outdoor basketball court our park has. You can’t buy in any store and Amazon had the best price when I was looking for it. Since it’s not cheap and you can’t try it out, you might be hesitant, but if you are an active teenager or adult, I say go for it. “
“From the very first day I saw a child’s neighbor riding the Slider the Unscooter, I knew it was the right product for me!
Even though it is not easy to find, it took a while to discover where to purchase it.
It is strong/sturdy and well equiped.
I ride the streets of my subdivision and love it, people stop me to ask what kind of scooter is mine? and I’ve seen already a few of them buying it too. [...]“
“I got my 4 and 6 year old boys the 3 wheel razor and tried to demonstrate for them how to use. I of course fell, because it is not made for my 250 lbs adult body… but I knew right away I had something fun. I went online to see what they made for big “kids”. I found this scooter and have been on it everyday since I got it. I agree with others that it is well made and easy to assemble. I enjoy this product and already I’m less than 250 lbs from this fun activity. I’m also 45 years old, don’t be afraid to let this unscooter take you back to your youth”
The Trikke Tech T12 Series 3 wheeled carving scooter is undoubtedly the top of 3 wheeled scooters for adults. With high-pressure pneumatic tires and disc brakes makes possible deeper carving and harder rides. It is the evolution of the Tech T8, and you can see the difference. It just outclasses its predecessor.
The Trikke Tech T12 Series is higher and heavier than the T8. This means more energy needed to start it but, thanks to the bigger wheels, it’s easier to maintain a good constant speed. Actually with disc brakes you feel safer at high speed. It easily climbs hills but its dimension might be a problem in narrow sidewalks because of its radius of curvature.
The weight of these body-propelled 3 wheeled scooters makes them perfect for work out. Legs, twisting, arms and shoulders are all involved in the movement for a good cardio exercise.
Product Features:

- The Trikke 12 roadster with its customized, high-pressure pneumatic tires

What buyers say:
“[...] It did take me about a month to get the technique down and really fine tune my “sweet spot” while riding. Now that I have, its been an amazing experience flying through the neigborhood and attracting lots of attention. Lots of people ask “what is that thing?…I even had a guy roll his window down while he was passing me and tell me quite emphatically “Yo!, thats the coolest thing ever!”…Needless to say, I am EXTREMELY pleased with my Trikke T12, Metallic Green [...]“
“I love this thing. It is not only a great workout, but it is fun to ride. I take this on an 8 mile greenway, and with an average speed of around 10 miles per hour I think I’m doing pretty well. I am sure I will improve over time. Everyone you pass will be either rubber necking or asking what it is that you’re riding. I swear, I could start distributing these things based on the level of interest I get while riding.”
“I had the T12 since Sept.06 and I’ve always enjoyed riding it as an exercise machine to get fit and have fun. Never a day goes out for me without trikking and its kinda addicting too. During my rides I get a lot of curious looks from folks around trying to comprehend what the heck I’m riding about and thats just part of the fun.”

“Bought this for my 11 year old who is 5’3 and 80lbs. she likes it,easy to ride and turn great, and folds up which makes it easy to store in the garage. also bought a 3 wheel flikr which is heavier but better constructed and a bit more expensive. The wheels on this one could be better, but id buy one again.”
“I bought this as a Christmas present for my daughter. Very easy to put together and my daughter loves it. Me and her Dad tried it also and I have to say it’s really fun to ride. Just need to be careful if going down hill and turning…you might wipe out. Only problem I noticed was the brake on the handle bar didn’t seem to work to good but other then that loved the product.”
“My 10 year old just got this for “early Christmas” before we go out of town for the holidays. He’s not the most coordinated child, so this is perfect for him. I love that it is metal instead of plastic like the other model. Its pretty fun for adults too! It was a breeze to assemble.”
